DOD Meatbox
The Meatbox is an octaver and a subharmonic synthesizer in the same box, rebuilt from the 1990s DOD circuit with updated components. Octave sets how much lower octave is added, Sub controls the synthesized subharmonic content underneath that, and Low reins the whole thing in before it overwhelms an amp - DOD's own warning is that it goes low enough to damage speakers if you let it.
The output is a single 1/4-inch TRS jack carrying the octave and sub content on the tip and the dry signal on the ring, so the low end can be split off to a PA while the dry guitar goes to an amp. It is true bypass with a blue LED, runs from a 9V alkaline battery or an optional supply, and the all-metal chassis measures 4.68 x 2.63 x 2.25 inches at 0.62 lb.
