Crestron TS-880R 8.1 in. Tabletop Touch Screen, Crestron Home OS
The TS-880R is the Crestron Home build of the 8.1 in. 80 Series tabletop touch screen. It arrives running the Crestron Home OS application, so the panel is adopted by the processor and configured from it rather than programmed. The 1280 x 800 capacitive display sits in the same die-cast housing as the standard TS-880 and wakes on a radar proximity sensor as somebody approaches.
Under the glass it is the current 80 Series hardware: 8 GB of RAM, 40 GB of pSLC storage, gigabit Ethernet with PoE+, and Wi-Fi 6E across 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz. The streaming decoder shows H.265, H.264, or MJPEG up to 4K at 30 fps, so a doorbell or IP camera appears on the panel over the network. A built-in microphone and speakers carry Rava SIP intercom for room-to-room calling.
