Crestron CLX-1MC4 4-Channel Motor Control Module, 120V
The CLX-1MC4 drives four 3-wire bidirectional motors, the kind used for drapery tracks, blinds, projection screens, and equipment lifts. Each channel has its own OPEN and CLOSE output rated 10 Amps or half a horsepower, with a 16 Amp module total on one 120 Volt single-phase feed, and a pair of red LEDs per channel shows which direction is live.
CLX modules mount in a Crestron CAEN or CAEN-MLO wall enclosure and bus their low-voltage control between one another on a five-wire link, terminating at a CAEN-BLOCK at the bottom of the cabinet, which is what keeps a large centralized system to one Cresnet drop. High-voltage wiring lands on a separate CLT terminal block, sold separately, so the electrician can terminate the feeders before the module is ever fitted.
