Clear-Com PTX-3UHF Wireless IFB Transmitter
The PTX-3 is a UHF digital-hybrid wireless IFB transmitter base station that feeds cues and program to talent wearing IFBR1B belt receivers. It broadcasts on a chosen UHF frequency block - PTX3-19 covers 486.4-511.9 MHz, PTX3-21 covers 537.6-563.1 MHz - with 256 selectable channels per block at 100 kHz spacing, so a coordinator can find clear spectrum at any venue. In IFB mode it holds a 100 Hz to 8 kHz response for clear voice cueing.
The compact half-pound transmitter runs from the included 12V locking supply or any external 6-18V DC source, making it easy to power at the cart or in the field. Pair it with IFBR1B beltpacks to put a director's or producer's voice in an anchor's or performer's ear.
