The Canon RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM is the compact standard zoom that pairs with Canon's APS-C EOS R cameras for everyday shooting. Its 18-45mm range gives a 29-72mm equivalent field of view, spanning modest wide-angle to short portrait length for travel, family, and general-purpose work. A retractable design keeps it small and light so it disappears into a bag or rides comfortably on a small body like the EOS R50 or R100.

Optical Image Stabilization corrects up to 4 stops of shake to steady handheld shots and video, and a lead screw-type STM motor drives focus quietly and smoothly. The lens focuses as close as 0.20 m at 18mm, uses 7 elements in 7 groups with two aspherical elements, and takes 49mm filters. It ships with the Lens Cap E-49 and Lens Dust Cap RF.
