Canon RF1200mm F8 L IS USM
The RF 1200mm F8 L IS USM is a fixed super-telephoto for full-frame EOS R cameras, delivering the kind of reach that pulls distant wildlife, aircraft, and sports action right up to the sensor. A 26-element optical design built around fluorite, Super UD, and UD glass controls the chromatic aberration that plagues extreme focal lengths, and the f/8 aperture keeps the barrel far more compact and manageable than a conventional 1200mm prime. Two focus preset positions let you snap instantly back to a memorized distance.
Optical image stabilization provides up to 4 stops of shake correction across three operating modes, essential at this magnification. The lens is fully compatible with the RF 1.4x and RF 2x extenders, taking effective reach to 1680mm or a remarkable 2400mm. It uses a 52mm drop-in screw filter and ships with the E-185C lens cap, RF dust cap, drop-in 52mm protect filter, ET-160 lens hood, LS1200 soft case, and wide strap.
