The RF100-300mm F2.8 L IS USM is a constant-aperture super-telephoto zoom that holds f/2.8 across its entire 100-300mm range, giving sports, wildlife, and stage shooters a fast prime's light and subject separation with the framing freedom of a zoom. A 23-element optical formula that includes fluorite, UD, and aspherical glass keeps flare and chromatic aberration in check wide open, while a 9-blade circular diaphragm renders soft, even out-of-focus backgrounds. A built-in function and focus preset switch lets you snap back to a stored focus point instantly.

Optical image stabilization corrects up to 5.5 stops of shake, rising to 6 stops with coordinated IS on EOS R bodies that have in-body stabilization, so long lenses stay usable handheld and off a monopod.
