The RF 100mm F2.8 L Macro IS USM is a medium telephoto macro lens for full-frame EOS R cameras, and it focuses past 1:1 to a 1.4x maximum magnification so small subjects fill the frame with room to spare. The bright, fixed f/2.8 aperture holds across the focus range, and a Spherical Aberration Control ring lets you dial the character of the background blur and edge softness on close-up work, a first for a Canon macro lens.

Hybrid IS corrects both angular and shift shake, the kind that shows up most at close focusing distances, for up to 5 stops of stabilization. Dual Nano USM drives fast, quiet autofocus that suits stills and video alike, and the L-series barrel is sealed against dust and moisture.
