The EXH-4KC7 is an extender that also switches: the transmitter takes both an HDMI source and a USB-C source, so a room PC and a visiting laptop share one plate and one cable run to the display. The USB-C port supplies 100 W of charging while it carries video, which is what makes a single-cable lectern possible.

Over HDBaseT 3.0 it reaches 100 m at 4K60 on Cat6A or Cat7, and 150 m at 1080p in long reach mode. USB 3.2 Gen 1 devices connect at the transmitter and USB 2.0 devices at the receiver, with gigabit Ethernet, RS-232 and bi-directional IR passing along the same cable. Balanced audio comes out on a Phoenix connector at each end.
