It accepts component (SD or HD), S-Video, and NTSC or PAL composite on its analog inputs and outputs the result on two SDI connectors, so an older deck, camera, or playback source can feed a modern SDI router, switcher, or monitor.

Ten-bit video processing keeps the converted image clean, and the two SDI outputs drive two destinations from a single input without a separate distribution stage. The unit sits in a solid metal housing for rack, wall, or field use and ships with a +12V universal power supply with international socket adapters.
