Blackmagic Cloud Dock 4
The Blackmagic Cloud Dock 4 turns up to four independent 2.5-inch disks into shared network storage in a single rack unit. Its four bays are removable and hot-swappable and take SATA HDDs or SSDs as well as high-performance U.2 disks, so a camera media disk can drop straight into the dock and become available to the whole facility over a fast 10G Ethernet network. An internal power supply and compact 1RU chassis make it portable enough to travel with a production.
Four 10G BASE-T Ethernet ports plus a USB-C port with Ethernet over USB give plenty of ways to connect editors and operators at once, and the dock stays quick even with many people pulling files at the same time. Dropbox and Google Drive sync can distribute files internationally, and all storage, connection and sync activity shows in real time on a display connected to the HDMI monitor output. It works with ExFAT and HFS+ disks and carries part number BMD-DWCLDB/DOCK04.
