Audio-Technica ESW-R4180 8-Channel Receiver

The ESW-R4180 is the receiver at the center of Audio-Technica's Engineered Sound Wireless system, an 8-channel DECT receiver that pulls audio from any combination of up to eight handheld, bodypack, desk stand, or boundary transmitters over a single LAN connection. Power-over-Ethernet runs the receiver and carries audio out over one Cat5e-or-better cable, and dual network ports keep the audio stream and IP control traffic on separate paths. Up to 12 receivers can be combined for as many as 96 simultaneous channels in HD mode, and AES256 encryption is standard.

Two network-output versions cover different house networks: ESW-R4180LK outputs over Audio-Technica's own LINK protocol, while ESW-R4180DAN outputs Dante audio for integration into an existing Dante-based install. Both share the same low-profile white housing with status and link indicator lamps, and both report transmitter status, audio level, and remaining battery time into Audio-Technica's Wireless Manager software for centralized monitoring alongside a facility's other AT wireless systems.
