Audio-Technica ATW-A49A Directional UHF Antenna Pair
The ATW-A49A is a pair of wide-band directional LPDA (log-periodic dipole array) antennas that improve reception for a UHF wireless rack by pointing at the stage instead of pulling in RF from every direction at once. Their 90-degree beamwidth rejects a good deal of the reflected and off-axis interference an omnidirectional antenna would pick up, and 6 dB of gain over the 470-950 MHz band gives a receiver a cleaner signal to work with, especially at the edge of its range.
Each antenna mounts to a standard 5/8"-27 thread, and the mount allows 90 degrees of vertical tilt plus full horizontal rotation, so it can be aimed precisely once it's up on a stand or wall bracket. At 11.5 oz each and built from copper-clad epoxy fiberglass in a matte black finish, they're light enough for a quick temporary rig but sturdy enough to leave mounted for a permanent install.
