Audio-Technica ES925C Cardioid Condenser Gooseneck Microphone
The ES925C is the cardioid version of Audio-Technica's modular gooseneck system, built from three interchangeable pieces: a fixed-charge back-plate condenser capsule, a gooseneck available from a compact 6 inches up to a wide-table 24 inches, and a power module chosen to match how the room is wired. Both the capsule housing and the power module carry an RGB LED ring that reports the mic's on/off status at a glance, and a capacitive touch switch on the flush-mount and desk-stand modules can be set to touch on/off, touch-to-talk, or touch-to-mute.
An XLR power module is the simplest option, plugging straight into any standard mic input; the 3-pin and 5-pin flush-mount modules drop into a single-gang box for a podium or conference table with the wiring hidden below the surface, with the 5-pin version adding an external contact closure for triggering a camera or a light; and the 5-pin desk stand is a self-contained base that just sits on the table. Every configuration ships with a matched TA5F cable, a foam windscreen, and the mounting hardware for its power module.
