Audio-Technica ESE Interchangeable Element

The ESE series covers Audio-Technica's interchangeable capsule elements for the ES925 modular microphone system, letting an installer swap pickup pattern on an existing gooseneck body without buying a whole new mic. Each element unscrews from the body in seconds and drops in a fresh cardioid (120°), hypercardioid (100°), MicroLine (90°), or omnidirectional (360°) capsule, and ships with a matching foam windscreen sized to that pattern.

The "a"-suffix versions (CA, HA, MLA, OA) use a windscreen built with a translucent light-pipe ring so the gooseneck body's RGB LED status ring stays visible through the foam - the versions to choose for current LED-equipped ES925 bodies. Standard C/H/ML/O elements and the CW/HW/MLW/OW white-finish options cover older or non-LED installations. All elements are low impedance, balanced, and phantom powered through the host gooseneck's electronics.
