Audio-Technica BPHS2 Broadcast Stereo Headset
The BPHS2 replaces the BPHS1's over-ear cups with a low-profile, on-ear build carried straight over from the ATH-M60x studio monitor headphone, including its 45 mm large-aperture drivers, so a field producer or sideline reporter gets accurate return audio without a bulky shell clamped over the ears all day. Memory-foam ear pads and a padded headband keep it comfortable through a long broadcast, and the hypercardioid dynamic boom mic (or the optional back-electret condenser element) stays locked on the announcer's voice in a loud arena.
A dual-ear version covers both cue and program audio for a play-by-play booth; the single-ear (S) version leaves one ear open for a producer or a crowd, which reporters doing stand-ups often prefer. Every element is available standard-terminated (3-pin XLRM mic, 1/4-inch headphone jack), unterminated (a bare pigtail for custom wiring), or with a 4-pin XLR comms connector (XF4) for intercom and beltpack systems. All versions share a detachable TA6F-to-TB6M cable, three windscreens, a cable clip, and a carrying pouch.
