The BPCB3 is Audio-Technica's replacement cable for the entire BPHS2 headset family - BPHS2, BPHS2C, BPHS2S, and their "a" revisions - built for the shop that needs to re-terminate a headset for a specific console or intercom rather than order a whole new headset because a cable finally wore out. It plugs into the headset with the same locking TA6F connector the factory cable uses, so fit and function match exactly.

The far end ships unterminated, a bare pigtail of the microphone and headphone conductors, so an installer can solder on whatever the house standard requires: an XLR and a 1/4-inch TRS for a typical broadcast console, or a proprietary intercom connector for a comms system.
