Audio-Technica ATH-M70x Closed-Back Monitor Headphones

The ATH-M70x is the top of the M Series, a closed-back pair with 45 mm drivers whose response runs 5 - 40,000 Hz - wider at both ends than the M50x - for mastering and critical checks where you need to hear what is happening below and above the working range of a smaller pair.

Impedance is 35 ohms and it will take 2,000 mW at 1 kHz, so it stays composed at monitoring levels that would compress a consumer pair. The cups swivel 90 degrees for one-ear cueing and the pair collapses for a case. Three detachable cables ship in the box along with a carrying case and a 1/4" screw-on adapter.
