Audio-Technica ATW-3255 Wireless In-Ear Monitor System

The ATW-3255 packages a rack-mount ATW-T3205 stereo transmitter with front-panel controls and a large OLED display, an ATW-R3250 bodypack receiver, and a pair of ATH-E40 in-ear headphones into one wireless in-ear monitoring system. The DF2 band spans an exceptionally wide 470-608 MHz, giving a monitor engineer 138 MHz of tuning room to steer clear of interference even on a stage packed with other RF gear, and antenna diversity (using the earphone cable itself as a secondary antenna) keeps the link stable as a performer moves.

On stage, each performer can dial in their own mix from the receiver with EQ, limiter, gain, and balance controls, switch between stereo and mono, and cue through other IEM channels from a single unit when a monitor engineer needs to check every mix. The bodypack receiver runs up to 7 hours on NiMH batteries, or 6 on alkaline, and recharges in the same ATW-CHG3 or ATW-CHG3N station used for 3000 Series bodypack transmitters. The transmitter can feed as many additional receivers as a production needs.
