AKG WMS470 Vocal Set D5 Wireless Microphone System
The WMS470 Vocal Set D5 is the dynamic-capsule build of AKG's professional analog UHF system. The D5 supercardioid head gives a full, forward vocal with strong rejection off the sides, which is what a loud stage with monitors in front of the singer actually needs. Pilot tone transmission stops the receiver from opening onto anything but its own transmitter, so switching the handheld off is silent.
The HT470 uses a dipole antenna split across the body, so a hand wrapped over one pole does not kill the link, and battery identification detects the cell type and shows remaining hours on the display. The SR470 receiver adds Auto Setup, Environment Scan and Rehearsal mode plus a backlight that changes color to warn of low battery, audio peaks or weak signal. Both units ship with a rack kit and a universal power supply.
