AKG CGN321 STS Programmable Gooseneck Conference Microphone
The CGN321 STS is a self-contained tabletop conference microphone rather than a gooseneck-plus-separate-base assembly: a 30 cm cardioid gooseneck is built into a heavy, matte-black metal table stand with a programmable button and status LED, so it can be wired into a conferencing or voting system as a talk/mute control at the delegate's own position.
The cardioid capsule holds a 120-degree pickup angle, tight enough to stay on the speaker in front of it and reject the table and the room around it. The weighted metal base keeps the microphone stable during normal handling, which matters in a chamber or boardroom where the microphone gets bumped and repositioned through a long session.
