The C747 V11 updates AKG's classic C747 pencil shotgun for installed sound and conferencing. A short interference tube gives it a hypercardioid pattern that holds steady across the frequency range, so it does not shift character as a speaker moves off-axis, and an integrated RFi shield blocks interference from phones and wireless mics that plague conference rooms.

A switchable LF roll-off filter suppresses mechanical and handling noise, and the low-impedance transformerless preamp runs on standard 9 - 52 V phantom power. It ships with an extensive accessory set: shock mount/adapter, mini gooseneck, stand adapter, mounting clamp, thread link, and windscreen, covering lectern, hanging, and boom mounting without separate purchases.
