AKG MPA VL Phantom Power Adapter

The MPA VL is the in-line power module for AKG's miniature C-series clip-on microphones, converting standard 48V phantom power from a console or XLR input into the low-voltage supply those capsules need. It sits between the microphone's thin cable and the house XLR run, rather than inside the mic body, so the capsule stays small.

A switchable bass roll-off on the adapter cuts handling and wind rumble at the source, useful on the C516/C518/C519 clip-on mics it is built for, whether mounted on an instrument or worn on a lapel. It terminates in a male XLR connector and runs 50 cm to the microphone's own connector.
