AJA FiDO-T 1-Channel 3G-SDI to Single-Mode LC Fiber Transmitter

The FiDO-T is a single-channel SDI-to-fiber transmitter that puts a 3G, HD, or SD-SDI signal onto single-mode LC fiber for runs up to 10 km. Fiber transport sidesteps the distance limits of coax and provides electrical isolation, which eliminates the ground-loop problems that plague long copper runs between buildings, trucks, and stages. A looping SDI output passes the source on locally so you can feed a nearby monitor or device without an extra splitter.

The FiDO-T uses AJA's compact, low-profile enclosure that fits in tight spaces behind racks, in trucks, or on camera, and meets the relevant SMPTE specifications. It runs on 5 to 20 VDC from the included DWP-U-R1 universal power supply and is backed by a five-year warranty.
