AJA FiDO-2R-MM 2-Channel Multi-Mode LC Fiber to 3G-SDI Receiver

The FiDO-2R-MM carries two independent 3G/HD/SD-SDI channels back from multi-mode fiber, with runs up to 700 m (2296 ft) on OM4 and 300 m (984 ft) on OM3. The two paths are separate end to end, so a pair of unrelated feeds can share one duplex fiber and come out cleanly split at the receive end. Fiber transport also isolates the two ends electrically, which is the practical cure for the ground loops that show up on long copper runs between rooms, trucks and stages.

FiDO converters sit in a low-profile enclosure that fits behind a monitor, in the back of a rack or on a camera rig, and the dual multi-mode LC connector is what distinguishes this model from the rest of the family. It runs on 5 to 20V DC from the included universal power supply, reclocks the supported rates automatically and passes everything else through untouched.
