AJA FiDO-2R-12G 2-Channel Single-Mode LC Fiber to 12G-SDI Receiver

The FiDO-2R-12G carries two independent 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI channels back from single-mode fiber, with cable runs up to 10 km (32,808 ft). The two paths are separate end to end, so a pair of unrelated feeds can share one duplex fiber and come out cleanly split at the receive end. Fiber transport also isolates the two ends electrically, which is the practical cure for the ground loops that show up on long copper runs between rooms, trucks and stages.

FiDO converters sit in a low-profile enclosure that fits behind a monitor, in the back of a rack or on a camera rig, and the dual single-mode LC connector is what distinguishes this model from the rest of the family. It runs on 5 to 20V DC from the included universal power supply, reclocks the supported rates automatically and passes everything else through untouched. AJA covers its Mini-Converters with a five year warranty.
