AJA FiDO-2T-MM 2-Channel 3G-SDI to Multi-Mode LC Fiber Transmitter

The FiDO-2T-MM carries two independent 3G/HD/SD-SDI channels out over multi-mode fiber, with runs up to 700 m (2296 ft) on OM4 and 300 m (984 ft) on OM3. Two separate sources share one duplex fiber instead of two, which halves the cable count inside a building where multi-mode is already pulled. Fiber transport also isolates the two ends electrically, which is the practical cure for the ground loops that show up on long copper runs between rooms, trucks and stages.

FiDO converters sit in a low-profile enclosure that fits behind a monitor, in the back of a rack or on a camera rig, and the dual multi-mode LC connector is what distinguishes this model from the rest of the family. It runs on 5 to 20V DC from the included universal power supply, reclocks the supported rates automatically and passes everything else through untouched.
