AJA FiDO-2T-12G 2-Channel 12G-SDI to Single-Mode LC Fiber Transmitter

The FiDO-2T-12G carries two independent 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI channels out over single-mode fiber, with cable runs up to 10 km (32,808 ft). Two separate sources share one duplex fiber instead of two, which halves the cable count on a long pull between a stage and a control room. Fiber transport also isolates the two ends electrically, which is the practical cure for the ground loops that show up on long copper runs between rooms, trucks and stages.

FiDO converters sit in a low-profile enclosure that fits behind a monitor, in the back of a rack or on a camera rig, and the dual single-mode LC connector is what distinguishes this model from the rest of the family. It runs on 5 to 20V DC from the included universal power supply, reclocks the supported rates automatically and passes everything else through untouched. AJA covers its Mini-Converters with a five year warranty.
