AJA FiDO-2T 2-Channel 3G-SDI to Single-Mode LC Fiber Transmitter

The FiDO-2T is a two-channel SDI-to-fiber transmitter that puts two separate 3G, HD, or SD-SDI signals onto single-mode LC fiber over a duplex connection. The two SDI-to-fiber paths are completely independent, so each channel can carry a different signal at a different rate, useful for sending a pair of camera feeds or a program-and-return pair down one fiber jacket for up to 10 km. Fiber transport also provides electrical isolation that eliminates ground-loop problems on long runs.

The FiDO-2T uses AJA's compact, low-profile enclosure that fits behind racks, in trucks, or on camera, and meets the relevant SMPTE specifications. It runs on 5 to 20 VDC from the included DWP-U-R1 universal power supply and is backed by a five-year warranty.
