AJA FiDO-R-SC Single-Mode SC Fiber to 3G-SDI Receiver

The FiDO-R-SC is the receiving half of an AJA fiber link, converting a single-mode fiber signal back to 3G-SDI at the far end of a long cable run. It uses a simplex SC fiber connector and recovers 3G/HD/SD-SDI at resolutions up to 1080p, automatically selecting between 3 Gb, 1.5 Gb, and 270 Mb formats. Because it drives two matching, simultaneously active SDI outputs, one incoming fiber feed can supply a monitor and a downstream device without an extra distribution amp.

Paired with an AJA fiber transmitter, it carries signals up to 10 km over standard single-mode fiber, making it a clean solution for stadiums, campuses, and outside broadcast where copper cannot reach. It draws about 1.5 watts, ships with the DWP-U-R1 universal 5-20 VDC power supply, and is rugged enough for indoor or outdoor use. AJA backs it with a five-year warranty.
