AJA HA5 PLUS HDMI To 3G-SDI Conversion With DSLR Frame-rate

The HA5-Plus sends an HDMI signal to an SDI monitor, recorder, or switcher in up to 1080p60 4:2:2 10-bit, bridging consumer and prosumer gear into a 3G/HD/SD-SDI workflow. It also accepts progressive standard-definition signals at 525p and 625p, so DSLR output that other converters reject drops straight into an SDI chain. A 3G-SDI output with PLL clock filtering keeps jitter low for a stable image.

Up to eight channels of HDMI audio pass through to the SDI output, and two channels of analog audio can be embedded alongside them. The equalized HDMI input supports runs up to 30 meters on 24 AWG cable, and USB setup through AJA MiniConfig handles configuration. The unit runs on 5 to 20V DC from the included DWP-U-R1 universal supply and ships with a 1 meter HDMI cable.
