AJA FS2 Dual-channel 1RU Universal 3G/HD/SD Frame

The FS2 packs two independent channels of frame synchronization and format conversion into a single 1RU chassis, so it can do the work of two separate devices or gang both processors together for maximum flexibility. Each channel handles a full stream of 3G/HD/SD 10-bit broadcast video with its own analog component or composite, 3G/HD/SD-SDI, Dual-Link, and HDMI I/O, plus a group of 16-channel AES audio. That covers up and down and cross conversion, analog to digital and back, optical to electrical, and audio embed and disembed in one box.

Audio is handled as 16-channel, 24-bit AES/EBU at 48 kHz with synchronous or asynchronous operation and internal sample-rate conversion, brought out over XLR via a 25-pin breakout cable. The unit fits a standard rack at 17.25 x 14.5 x 1.75 inches and operates from 0 to 40 degrees C. It supports 1080i, 1080p, 1080PsF, 720p, and SD 625i/525i standards across its two channels.
