AJA HI5 PLUS PsF-to-P Handling And A 1 M HDMI Cable

The Hi5-Plus takes a 3G/HD/SD-SDI source and outputs HDMI as a 30-bit Deep Color RGB signal, letting an SDI feed drive an HDMI monitor or display with the full color range the signal carries. Because HDMI monitors do not natively handle PsF, the Hi5-Plus converts incoming 1080PsF to 1080p so the picture displays correctly instead of tearing or dropping.

Using the free AJA MiniConfig software you can pick any eight of the sixteen SDI embedded audio channels to pass to the HDMI output and delay them from zero to seven frames to lock lip sync, while two channels of RCA analog audio can play out at the same time. The unit runs on the included DWP-U-R1 supply (5V DC regulated, 7.5 watts) and ships with a 1 meter HDMI cable.
