AJA HA5-12G-T HDMI 2.0 to 12G-SDI Converter with Fiber Transmitter

The HA5-12G-T converts an HDMI 2.0 source to 12G-SDI, carrying full 4K/UltraHD over a single coax link, and adds a single-channel LC fiber transmitter for extending that signal up to 10 km over single-mode fiber. It handles resolutions up to DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) and UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) at up to 60p, so a laptop, camera, or player feeding HDMI reaches an SDI or fiber destination without a resolution penalty. Two 12G-SDI distribution-amplifier outputs let you drive more than one downstream device from the same box.

Audio travels with the video: 8- or 2-channel embedded audio pulled from the HDMI source, or a 2-channel analog (RCA) input embedded into the SDI stream. When paired with AJA's Mini-Config software, the HA5-12G-T can analyze HDR infoframe data arriving over HDMI. It ships in AJA's mini-converter enclosure and runs from the included universal power supply.
