Allen & Heath ZED-10
The ZED-10 is a compact, touring-quality analog mixer built for small live gigs, rehearsal rooms and desktop recording. Four mic/line channels run low-noise preamps with up to 60dB of gain, and channels 3 and 4 add Hi-Z Class-A FET instrument inputs with 26dB boost switches so a guitar or bass plugs straight in without a DI. Three stereo inputs (two on TRS jacks, one on RCA) bring in keyboards, playback and other line sources, and XLR main outputs with insert points feed the PA.
A 3-band EQ with sweepable mid on each mono channel, plus 2-band EQ on the stereo channels, gives musical MusiQ tone shaping, and the frequency response runs 10 Hz to 30 kHz (+0.5/-1 dB) for a clean, full-range signal. A built-in stereo bi-directional USB audio interface records to and plays back from a Mac or PC at CD quality using standard drivers, making the ZED-10 an easy bridge between the stage and a laptop.
