Yamaha HS7 Powered Studio Monitor
The Yamaha HS7 is a two-way, bi-amplified nearfield monitor with a 6.5-inch cone woofer and a 1-inch dome tweeter, powered by a 60W low-frequency and 35W high-frequency amplifier for 95W total. It sits between the HS5 and HS8 in the line, giving more low-end extension than the HS5 while keeping the same flat, revealing voicing that Yamaha built its mixing-room reputation on.
Rear ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM switches let you compensate for a desk reflection or a bright room, and balanced XLR and TRS inputs handle interface or console outputs. A newly designed transducer and a mitered bass-reflex port keep distortion and port turbulence low across the range. The install (I) versions add four-surface mounting points for fixed installations and are available in black or white.
