URC TRC-820 Single Room Remote

The TRC-820 is the single-room Wi-Fi handheld in the Total Control range, built around a 2 inch LCD and an ergonomic body with a full hard-button layout. Its screen does more than list sources: it shows live video from compatible door stations and surveillance cameras, so someone at the front door can be seen from the sofa.

The dealer programs it with custom menus, color schemes, and icons, and can personalize room images, icons, and backgrounds. Favorite Channels stores up to 128 channels, surfable by genre with live programming information, and the Shortcuts menu gives one-touch access to up to six activities per room. A pickup sensor wakes the remote on motion to extend runtime, and Quick-Connect Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz gets it onto the network without a laptop. The rechargeable battery runs four to five days in normal use, and the remote measures 2.04 by 8.66 by 1.19 inches at 5.1 oz. A power adapter and battery are included.
