URC SP-6LE 6.5-inch Two-Way In-Ceiling Speakers (Pair)

The SP-6LE is the workhorse 6.5 inch in-ceiling speaker in URC's architectural line, built around a polypropylene woofer and a 1 inch silk dome swivel tweeter. It is the pair to specify for background music zones and general whole-house audio where the room does not demand the extra output of the EX models. Both drivers carry a three-position EQ adjustment at minus 3, 0, and plus 3 dB.

It uses the same clamping system as the rest of the range: wire onto removable terminals, speaker into the cutout, levers down to engage the clamps against the drywall, no tools. The grille is frameless magnetic micromesh aluminum. Power handling is 5 to 100 watts at 8 ohms nominal, sensitivity is 91 dB, and response runs 50 Hz to 20 kHz. The frame is 9.45 inches in diameter and 3.98 inches deep, takes an 8.15 inch cutout, and fits ceilings 0.5 to 1.0 inch thick. Two speakers and a cutout template are in the box.
