URC MRX-5 Essential Base Station
The MRX-5 is the entry point into URC Total Control: a primary processor sized for up to four rooms in a house or a small commercial space. It runs IP, IR, and RS-232 control, stores and executes the control and automation commands the dealer writes, and works with the same family of URC remotes and touch screens as the larger controllers. Programming is done in Total Control Accelerator 3 Expressway, and both programming and control can be done off-site.
Connections are a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port, four IR outputs with ports 1 through 3 at fixed output level and port 4 on an attenuation dial, and one RS-232 port. Power and Ethernet status LEDs sit on a Total Control front panel with LED lighting. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration is supported for voice control. The chassis measures 5.12 by 0.98 by 3.98 inches and weighs 6 ounces, and a mounting plate and screws are included for hideaway wall mounting alongside four IR emitters and the power adapter.
