Teradek RT SmartKnob Wired Lens Controller

SmartKnob is a wired lens controller that needs no receiver. Plugged into a RED DSMC or DSMC2 camera, it drives focus and iris on Canon EF and Nikon AF lenses through the lens's own internal motors, and maps RED camera commands such as shutter and ISO to hot keys along the side of the knob.

The knob itself is the point: it is ergonomic and it holds a feel that a stock manual follow focus does not. Add any Teradek MDR and the same knob will also drive Teradek brushless lens motors, so a single controller covers both the stills glass and the cine glass on a job.
