CNC-hobbed drive gear for an RT lens motor, in the module pitch your lens rings use.

Lens gearing is not standard across the industry, and a motor gear that is one module out will skip under load in the middle of a pull. Teradek cuts these gears on a hobbing machine for every RT motor, so the tooth profile meshes cleanly rather than riding on the tips.

Cine glass from ARRI, Zeiss and Sony is almost always 0.8 mod, and the 12 mm wide version of that gear is the one for a broad focus ring or a lens with a lot of side play. Panavision and Canon C-mount take 0.4, Canon and Angenieux ENG take 0.5, and Fujinon ENG takes 0.6.
