Tascam MZ-223 5-Channel Multi-Zone Rackmount Mixer

The MZ-223 routes five separate input channels, each carrying two sets of stereo RCA inputs, to three independent zone outputs. Each zone leaves on both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA, so a single unit can feed a professional amplifier rack and a consumer receiver in a back room without a converter.

Two front-panel mic-capable XLR/TRS combo inputs handle paging, and a talkover function automatically ducks the programme when a microphone is used. Controls are sliders, toggles and knobs rather than a menu, which is deliberate in a room where non-technical staff make the changes. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz and the unit runs from the supplied PS-M1524 adapter at 35 W.
