Sony BRAVIA Projector 7 (VPL-XW5100ES) 4K HDR Laser Projector
BRAVIA Projector 7 is Sony's current native 4K entry, the VPL-XW5100ES. Its native 4K SXRD panel and a laser source rated at up to 2,200 lumens deliver wide dynamic range with deep blacks and smooth gradation, and XR Triluminos Pro processing reproduces the wide colour range HDR film content carries. Like the rest of the SXRD line it has no lamp to replace.
The optics are a manual 1.6x zoom with a 1.38 - 2.21:1 throw ratio and manual shift of plus or minus 71 percent vertical and 25 percent horizontal. Two HDMI inputs, RJ45 LAN, RS-232C, IR in and a trigger output handle integration. It runs at about 24 dB, draws 295 W and weighs 13 kg. Offered in black or white to suit the room.
