Sony VPL-XW5000ES 4K HDR Laser Home Theater Projector

The VPL-XW5000ES brings Sony's native 4K SXRD imaging to a compact home theater chassis. A 0.61-inch 4K SXRD panel with 8.3 million pixels is lit by a laser source rated at up to 2,000 lumens, so there is no lamp to replace and brightness holds over years of use. The X1 Ultimate for projector processor adapts the BRAVIA television engine to projection, enhancing objects in real time, and TRILUMINOS PRO reproduces over a billion colours.

Installation uses a manual 1.6x zoom with a 1.38 - 2.21:1 throw ratio and manual lens shift of plus or minus 71 percent vertical and 25 percent horizontal. Two HDMI inputs, an RJ45 LAN port, RS-232C, an IR input and a 12 V trigger cover control and integration. The projector runs at 24 dB, draws 295 W and weighs about 13 kg.
