Sony VPL-GTZ380 4K SXRD Laser Projector, 10,000 Lumens
The VPL-GTZ380 is Sony's flagship large-venue and premium home cinema projector: three 0.74-inch native 4K SXRD panels lit by a laser light source rated at 10,000 lumens. Dynamic laser control gives an effectively infinite dynamic contrast ratio, and the processing includes Object-based HDR Remaster, Object-based Super Resolution, Digital Contrast Optimizer and a Dynamic HDR Enhancer, with HDR10 and HLG supported on the two HDCP 2.3 HDMI inputs. It also projects 3D with a VESA 3-pin mini-DIN sync output and offers input-lag reduction for 4K and 2K gaming.
Lenses are sold separately and shift under power: the VPLL-Z8014 covers throw ratios of 1.49 - 2.91:1 with vertical shift of plus or minus 80 percent, and the short-throw VPLL-Z8008 covers 0.85 - 1.09:1. Acoustic noise is 33 - 39 dB depending on mode, power draw is up to 2.0 kW, and the chassis measures 560 x 228 x 760 mm.
