Sony VCL-ECU2 Ultra Wide Converter for SEL16F28 and SEL20F28

The VCL-ECU2 is a wide converter for Sony's SEL16F28 and SEL20F28 APS-C pancake lenses. Attached to the 16mm it yields a 12 mm focal length (18 mm equivalent) and a 103-degree field; on the 20mm it gives 16 mm (24 mm equivalent) and 88 degrees. Unlike the fisheye VCL-ECF2 it keeps lines straight, so it suits interiors, landscapes and architecture.

The bayonet mount locks on in a moment. Optically it is 3 elements in 3 groups, it retains the host lens's f/2.8 to f/22 range, and a fixed petal hood is built in. Size is about 66 x 44 mm and weight 125 g.
