Aida Imaging AIDA TGEN-6P 3G-SDI/HD-SDI Tri-Level Genlock Sync Generator

The AIDA TGEN-6P generates a 3G-SDI and HD-SDI tri-level genlock sync reference for multi-camera productions where every source needs to be locked to the same timing. It covers 15 formats from 720p at 25 Hz up to 1080p at 59.94/60 Hz, complies with SMPTE 274M, 296M, and 424M, and holds timing accuracy to plus or minus 2 parts per million. Both V-sync and H-sync are generated for more precise switching, and up to 6 synchronized reference outputs come off a single unit, enough to feed a small studio's worth of cameras, a switcher, and a recorder from one box.

A built-in LCD screen and DIP switches handle format selection and status checks without a separate configuration tool, and the unit can also run in slave mode, taking in an external reference and redistributing it to the connected gear. At 5.07 x 3.38 x 1.10 inches and 0.61 lbs, running on 12V DC, it is small enough to sit in a rack shelf or road case alongside the rest of a production's sync and distribution gear.
