Sony RM-VPR1 Wired Remote Commander with Multi Terminal Cable

The RM-VPR1 is a wired remote commander for Sony cameras and Handycam camcorders that have a Multi Terminal. It lets you start and stop video, work the zoom and release the shutter without touching the body, which is the difference between a sharp macro or long exposure and a shaken one. A shutter lock holds the shutter open for night scenes and other long exposures, and the remote clips to a tripod leg to keep it within reach.

The cable is about 800 mm (31.5 in) long and the remote weighs 30 g. Zoom is variable in two steps for compatible power-zoom lenses, and a display switch turns the camera screen on and off. It also works as a plain shutter release for A-mount cameras without a Multi Terminal.
