Sony QD-G120F XQD G Series Memory Card, 120 GB
The QD-G120F is a 120 GB card in Sony's XQD G series, the format used by XDCAM camcorders and Nikon bodies with XQD slots. Its PCI Express Gen 2 interface delivers up to 440 MB/s read and 400 MB/s write, which is what lets those cameras record 4K video and long continuous bursts without stalling, and it supports USB 3.0 for direct connection to a computer through a compatible reader.
Sony rates the G series at up to five times the durability of standard XQD, tested to 5 m (16.4 ft) drops, and specifies it as shock-proof, anti-static, and proof against UV, X-ray and magnetic fields with full performance in extreme temperatures. The card weighs about 10 g and is covered by a five-year limited warranty. The MRW-G1 reader handles both XQD and CFexpress Type B.
