Sony MRW-G3 CFexpress Type A Card Reader

The MRW-G3 is the reader built for Sony's CEA-G series CFexpress Type A cards. It supports the CFexpress 4 standard and a USB 40 Gbps interface, so it can offload at the full 1800 MB/s read speed of the current cards rather than throttling them at the reader. Large video files and full stills cards move in a fraction of the time an older USB 10 Gbps reader needs.

It works with Windows and macOS computers and also with iOS, iPadOS and Android devices, letting you pull footage into a phone or tablet in the field. A redesigned heat-dissipation structure keeps the reader at a steady operating temperature during long transfers. A USB Type-C to Type-C cable is included, and the unit measures about 58 x 17.2 x 100.5 mm.
